TechEmerge, a World Bank Group initiative, is a first of its kind matchmaking program for proven technology companies around the world that are looking to grow their business in emerging markets. Our objective is to bring technologies to new markets, and spur sustainable innovation in regions that need it the most. The inaugural program was launched for the healthcare technology market in India, with the dual goals of improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. The top 33 startups were selected to attend the TechEmerge matchmaking event in India, where they had one-on-one meetings with leading Indian healthcare providers. As a result, 17 innovators were successfully matched with 15 providers, to implement 22 pilot projects as a first step to building long-term partnerships.. The TechEmerge India program has led to exciting results, with new partnerships formed and commercial contracts signed. Watch the video below with testimonials from the matched innovators and providers, and learn more about technology solutions that are transforming Indian healthcare. What’s Next for TechEmerge? We’re looking forward to scaling TechEmerge to other geographies to spur healthcare innovation and accelerate meaningful partnerships in emerging markets.

October 31, is the deadline for adopting DOR’s new secure encryption process. The new, more secure encryption process for Method 2 filers participating in the Bank and Financial Institution Data Match Program is in place at the Department of Revenue and if you have not made the transition, now is the time to do that before the October 31 deadline.
Please review the instructions file size 2MB for transferring data. If you have additional questions after reviewing the instructions, please call DOR would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation with this important change. The federal program, as well as many other states, refers to their programs as “Data Match”, although the programs are essentially the same as MDOR’s. The biggest difference is that while nearly every other state uses its program solely for child support purposes, Massachusetts operates its Bank Match Program to enforce tax and state entitlement laws as well.
In the interest of safeguarding sensitive financial information and with progressive advancements in technology the prior outdated Bank Match Directive was replaced with a newer Directive which now mandates financial institutions to file and transmit data electronically. The information collected from multi-state financial institutions by the federal government is used solely for child support enforcement efforts. In contrast, the information collected by the Massachusetts Bank Match Program is used to enforce not only child support laws, but also its tax laws and state entitlement programs.
Therefore, despite the reporting option for multi-state financial institutions, all financial institutions doing business in Massachusetts must file Bank Match reports to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
